Senior Java Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to act as a technical leader and subject matter expert within our engineering organization. In this role, you will architect, design, and deliver enterprise-scale systems that form the backbone of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture, design, and end-to-end development of complex distributed systems and microservices.
  • Define, implement, and uphold coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices across teams.
  • Act as the technical authority for projects, providing strategic guidance and resolving critical technical challenges.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering knowledge sharing, technical growth, and excellence.
  • Drive the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and frameworks to address evolving business needs.
  • Lead architectural reviews and technical design sessions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and business leaders to define and execute on the technical vision.
  • Own initiatives in performance optimization, scalability, resiliency, and security hardening.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale Java applications.
  • Expert-level proficiency in the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, etc.).
  • Proven experience building and managing microservice architectures.
  • Strong expertise in database design, data modeling, and performance tuning across SQL and NoSQL systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineering teams.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native architecture (preferably AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • In-depth understanding of software security principles and secure development practices.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka).
  • Active contributions to open-source projects or a public portfolio (GitHub, etc.).
  • Background in regulated industries (e.g., Finance, Healthcare).
