Delivering exceptional customer service in dental claims is a vital component of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and document outstanding insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and efficiency by updating patient accounts with relevant notations.
  • Submit claims and supporting attachments to insurance providers.
  • Evaluate denial validity and address them accordingly.
  • Generate reports on a monthly basis to ensure compliance and completion.
  • Resubmit and reprocess claims, including grievances and appeals.
  • Clear rejected claims on a weekly basis to maintain a streamlined process.
  • Update the office tracker with payments received and addressed claims.
  • Complete assigned follow-ups and generate reports to facilitate decision-making.
  • Retrieve electronic payment notifications from insurance portals for posting.
  • Post insurance payments according to established office protocols.
  • Identify and communicate key updates or issues regarding the insurance process to the team.
Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with minimal accent.
  • Background in dental insurance or collections industries is preferred.
  • At least three years of hands-on experience in collections is required.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as this is a remote position.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up skills are essential.
