Job Title:

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to serve as our senior accountant.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the month-end close process, creating all journal entries, accruals, and adjustments timely and accurately. They will also analyze general ledger accounts, providing insights on significant variances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts, identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes to optimize financial performance.
  • Assist in preparing internal financial reports, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for management.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, ensuring data integrity and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes, improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • CPA certification or active progress toward CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
