Accountant Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team, responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the accounting function. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of financial regulations, excellent communication skills, and experience working with U.S. clients.

Job Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing end-to-end General Ledger Accounting, partnering with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting, and designing and rolling out processes for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350.

The role also involves preparing and presenting financial reports for senior leadership, leading projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation, identifying and implementing process and system improvements, participating in software implementations, process upgrades, and cross-training initiatives, and taking ownership of special projects, ad-hoc reports, and general accounting duties as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • CPA with Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience
  • 2-3 years in Big 4 audit or multinational companies
  • At least 2 years working with U.S. clients (insurance and tech company experience is a plus)
  • Strong exposure to ASC 606
  • QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Credit Card transaction experience
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while acting with integrity and professionalism
