Experienced Senior Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Professional to join our organization. This individual will play a key role in our finance team, providing technical expertise and leadership.
- Responsible for end-to-end General Ledger Accounting
- Collaborate with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting
- Develop and implement processes for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
- Lead projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation
- Identify and implement process improvements and system upgrades
- Participate in software implementations and cross-training initiatives
- Assume ownership of special projects, ad hoc reports, and general accounting duties as needed
- CPA with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience
- 2-3 years in Big 4 audit or multinational companies
- At least 2 years working with U.S. clients (insurance and tech company experience is beneficial)
- Strong exposure to ASC 606
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Credit Card transactions
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining integrity and professionalism
