About the Role

As a Senior Map Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building native iPhone and iPad apps that utilize mapping and geospatial data.

Our team is looking for an experienced developer who can work with cutting-edge mapping technologies and turn complex data into intuitive mobile experiences.

You will collaborate with our product and design teams while staying ahead of industry trends, creating innovative solutions that make an impact.

Your contributions will directly impact customer retention and growth by enhancing existing applications and launching new ones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality, user-friendly iOS and iPadOS apps that integrate mapping features.
  • Work with native frameworks like UIKit, SwiftUI, MapKit, and CoreLocation to deliver seamless functionality.
  • Integrate third-party modules, libraries, and partner services to develop and deploy new features.
  • Perform unit, UI, and integration tests to ensure reliability at scale.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to deliver polished, user-focused solutions.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have 6+ years of hands-on experience building iOS applications that utilize mapping features.
  • Be an expert in Swift programming, writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Know iOS frameworks like Core Data, MapKit, and CoreLocation inside out.
  • Understand design patterns like MVC and MVVM, and be able to weigh their trade-offs effectively.
