We are seeking a skilled SOC Analyst to join our security team. This role involves continuously monitoring and improving our customers' security posture while preventing, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents using technology and well-defined processes and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor security events from multiple sources, including network and host-based intrusion detection/prevention systems, network infrastructure logs, systems logs, applications, and databases.
  • Intrusion Investigation: Investigate intrusion attempts, differentiate false positives from true intrusion attempts, and perform analysis of exploits.
  • Proactive Threat Response: Proactively monitor and respond to known and emerging threats.
  • Security Strategy Execution: Carry out Thrive's information security strategy internally and externally for 400+ clients in the region.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data from our SOC and SIEM, determining if further analysis is needed.
  • Security Best Practices: Work within Thrive's security standards and best practices, recommending future enhancements.
  • Client Security Awareness: Manage our clients' security awareness training to help their end users be safe.
  • Vulnerability Remediation: Analyze vulnerability scans and determine remediation steps.
  • Security Staying Ahead: Stay up-to-date on security events and techniques to keep our clients protected.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with SIEM, TCP/IP, computer networking, routing, and switching.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity threats and experience with incident response standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrates comprehension of good security practices.
  • Professional experience in system administration supporting multiple platforms and applications.
  • Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management.
