We are seeking a driven, results-oriented professional to connect shippers and carriers for the efficient transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage shippers and carriers through daily calls and postings.
- Source and onboard new shipper accounts through referrals and marketing outreach.
- Build relationships with trucking companies and owner-operators.
- Negotiate rates and lanes for profitability and market competitiveness.
- Match freight with carrier partners based on service, equipment, and cost.
- Coordinate shipments, ensuring timely pickup and delivery.
- Monitor and resolve any service issues in real time.
- Maintain carrier compliance with safety, insurance, and regulatory standards.
- Use TMS software to post and manage loads.
- Ensure accurate and complete freight documentation.
- Stay informed on market conditions and trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with TMS platforms and load boards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A customer-service mindset with a focus on results.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
