Job Title: Director of Release Strategy

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our release management function, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases. This leadership role will drive operational excellence, ensure timely and high-quality deliveries, and foster close collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement release strategies that meet business goals and quality standards.
  • Manage and optimize the release process, ensuring seamless coordination across teams.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of all releases, including emergency fixes.
  • Maintain release documentation, including plans, notes, and risk assessments.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in the release pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Establish governance frameworks for release planning, scheduling, and execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in release management within a technology department.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release pipelines.
  • Expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare technology systems and industry compliance standards.
  • A results-driven approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
