Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and product positioning.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define annual targets, sales budgets, and performance metrics.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across regions or business units.
- Set clear performance goals, KPIs, and coaching plans for team members.
- Foster a results-driven, collaborative sales culture.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various industries and channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
- Oversee negotiation of high-value contracts and long-term agreements.
- Optimize distribution networks including direct sales, dealers, and third-party partners.
- Monitor and improve distributor performance, pricing, and product availability.
- Resolve channel conflicts and ensure smooth operations across territories.
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting using CRM systems.
- Analyze data to monitor performance, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Drive operational efficiency and accurate sales planning.
- Work closely with production, supply chain, and logistics to align inventory with demand.
- Collaborate with marketing for lead generation, brand visibility, and product launches.
- Coordinate with finance on pricing, profitability analysis, and payment terms.
- Develop customer loyalty programs and long-term relationship strategies.
- Handle major customer issues and ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in manufacturing and distribution industries (e.g., FMCG, industrial products, logistics, etc.)
- Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and production capabilities
- Demonstrated success in managing large sales teams and driving revenue growth
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as needed
