Legal Intake Specialist Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Legal Intake Specialist. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of requests for healthcare medical records.

The successful candidate will possess excellent research skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. They will be responsible for identifying relevant healthcare providers, researching billing providers, and accurately inputting information into our administrative application.

In addition, they will review incoming requests, prepare accurate base forms, and conduct quality assurance checks on each request packet. This includes verifying inclusion of all required details such as cover letters, affidavits, and other documentation.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience requesting health records from providers on behalf of law firms and possess technical skills with Adobe Acrobat and other PDF editing tools. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset are also essential for this role.

This is a full-time position requiring a senior-level professional who can work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: Prior hands-on experience requesting health records from providers on behalf of law firms
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy; even small mistakes can cause delays of several months
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and other PDF editing/combining tools
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive problem-solving mindset
