System Administrator Role

About the Position

Fleet Management is seeking a skilled system administrator to oversee our technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our on-premise and cloud-based systems to ensure they are robust, secure and scalable.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS/Azure platforms.
  • Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra, including user access control and multi-factor authentication.
  • Optimize cloud resources to improve performance and reduce costs while maintaining security standards.
  • Maintain and update Windows/Linux servers, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Configure and monitor network security measures, collaborating with cybersecurity experts to enforce best practices.
Key Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in IT systems administration, with at least 3 years in a senior role managing enterprise-level environments.
  • Expertise in cloud administration, particularly in AWS, and strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Entra.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead root cause analysis and implement improvements.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with Meraki/Cisco or next-gen firewalls and Linux instances.
  • Industry certifications such as MCSE, Microsoft 365, AWS, or ITIL v3/v4.
  • Familiarity with ISO27001/NIST/CIS security standards and database administration (Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB).
  • Experience guiding junior staff and promoting best practices in system administration.
