Data Insights Specialist

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will support product teams with data-driven insights. They must be adept at using large datasets to identify opportunities for product and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to inform decision-making with data-driven recommendations
  • Gather requirements and determine the best course of action for analysis
  • Define a robust set of datasets and dashboards to support key business processes
  • Use data to identify insights that inform hypotheses and test ideas
  • Analyse and evaluate A/B tests, report on results and recommend next steps
  • Build and maintain self-serve dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
  • Train team members on dashboards and self-serve analytics when needed
  • Support company growth by discovering, analysing and communicating critical user behavioural data
Essential Requirements:
  • Experience working with large-scale data sets
  • Experience in data analysis, cleaning or visualisation (e.g. SQL, Python, spreadsheets)
  • Experience with Enterprise Digital Analytics (e.g. Snowplow, GA4)
  • Experience with modern data warehousing solutions (e.g. BigQuery)
  • Admirable team player qualities, including collaboration, respect, and service focus
  • A willingness to learn and apply innovative data analytics methodologies
  • A genuine passion for data and drive to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills and expertise
