Language Development Coach

This role offers a unique opportunity to support and mentor language trainers in their professional development. As a Language Development Coach, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the teaching effectiveness and assessment skills of language trainers.

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide individualized coaching and support to language trainers, fostering their growth and development as educators. You will conduct regular coaching sessions to provide constructive feedback and opportunities for practice to hone trainers' teaching and assessment skills.

In addition to mentoring language trainers, you will facilitate online training sessions, discuss topics with participants, and encourage active participation from trainers and assessors. You will also administer quizzes and other evaluation methods to gauge the participant's understanding and knowledge retention. Furthermore, you will analyze evaluation data and provide recommendations for program improvement.

Your expertise will contribute significantly to the success of the learning solutions offered by the company. As a result, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Language Development Coach to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and support language trainers: Provide individualized coaching and support to language trainers, fostering their growth and development as educators.
  • Facilitate online training sessions: Facilitate discussions, answer questions, and encourage active participation from trainers and assessors.
  • Develop training materials: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructional designers to develop online training materials, including presentations, guides, and multimedia content.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, communication, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience as a language trainer, instructor, or educator, preferably with experience in coaching or mentoring.
  • Excellent understanding of various language proficiency frameworks and their application in training.
  • Proficiency in using web conferencing tools, learning management systems (LMS), and other online training platforms.
