SPED Lead Tutor

As a seasoned educator, you will lead the onboarding and coaching of tutors to provide high-quality, data-driven instruction to K-12 students with diverse needs.

You will onboard new tutors, preparing them for their first session and showing them how to navigate curriculum and assessments. Additionally, you will coach them on strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, English Language Learners (ELLs), and other exceptionalities.

Your responsibilities will also include building resources such as the Special Education Toolkit, sample lessons, planning templates, and progress-monitoring tools. You will champion Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Response to Intervention (RTI)/Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and multisensory instruction.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field and 3+ years of experience working with K-12 students, including those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans.

The successful candidate will possess strong coaching and professional development facilitation skills, as well as expertise in UDL, RTI/MTSS, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), accommodations/modifications, and behavior supports. Data literacy and proficiency in Google Workspace and Zoom are also essential.

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• 3+ years K-12 SPED experience (teacher, case manager, interventionist)
• Proven coaching/PD facilitation skills
• Expertise in UDL, RTI/MTSS, SEL, accommodations/modifications, and behavior supports
