Role Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Virtual Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to healthcare professionals and patients alike. Your primary focus will be on documenting patient information, managing appointment bookings, and ensuring the smooth operation of electronic health records.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Documenting new patient intake and referral information
  • Managing appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling for patients and healthcare providers
  • Inputting patient information, medical records, and billing data into electronic health record systems
  • Assisting with processing insurance claims, verifying patient insurance information, and handling billing inquiries and concerns
  • Responding to incoming patient inquiries, providing information, and directing them to the appropriate healthcare professional
  • Assisting in analyzing healthcare data, preparing reports, and maintaining records
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a medical field or related industry
  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (C1 level)
  • Solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices
  • Proficient in electronic health record systems and able to troubleshoot common technical issues
  • Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid organizational and time management skills with keen attention to details
