We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional support to patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless communication and efficient outcomes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and colleagues alike. As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to Patient Enquiries

You will respond promptly and professionally to patient enquiries via phone, email, online forms, and other channels. Your empathetic approach will ensure that patients feel heard and understood, receiving clear and compassionate information about chiropractic services.

  • Managing Leads and Follow-ups

You will manage incoming leads, conduct timely follow-ups, and maximize engagement and conversion. Proactive outreach and re-engagement campaigns will be key in reactivating past patients, fostering long-term relationships.

  • Scheduling Appointments and Payments

You will schedule initial consultations and follow-up appointments, ensuring coordination with clinic staff and chiropractors. You will also handle payment transactions, provide transparent pricing information, and guide patients through payment options.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a personable and empathetic approach. A high level of discipline in following procedures, scripts, and workflow systems is also crucial.

  • Experience in Customer Service or Sales Support

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service or sales support role within a healthcare environment is preferred. A Bachelor's degree or Certificate IV in a relevant discipline is also desirable.
