Job Overview

The global business development leader is accountable for driving strategic growth through the leadership of a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a hybrid sales team to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets by developing and executing targeted business strategies.
  • Expand the sales team using established plans and processes.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development support to ensure consistent goal attainment across the team.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the company's technology stack to support the sales team with lead follow-up and proactive outreach.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 review meetings and hold daily team huddles to share best practices.
  • Coach direct reports on strategies to increase conversion rates and create more pipeline.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including marketing, sales operations, recruitment, and HR teams.
  • Attend weekly sales team meetings to maintain alignment with field sales.
  • Monitor team performance against key performance indicators and drive the team forward to exceed expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, tool enhancements, and training to evolve the team.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrable understanding of business development principles.
  • Expertise in coaching and leading high-performing sales teams to success.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of information security concepts and industry landscape.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Proven capability of developing talent that progresses through the business.
Desired Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience running business development or inside sales teams.
  • 2+ years of experience as a BDR Rep in software industry.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Inside Sales Rep in Software industry (advantageous).
