The Patient Care Coordinator will provide exceptional patient care by supporting a U.S.-based healthcare client. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities include answering incoming calls promptly and professionally, making outbound calls to patients for appointment reminders and follow-ups, responding to patient text messages and emails with accurate and timely information, and returning patient phone messages through the answering service to ensure all inquiries are addressed.
Additional responsibilities include scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments according to provider availability, calling patients who no-showed to reschedule and re-engage them, managing the triage process by routing calls to the correct departments or staff, and assisting in creating new patient referrals and coordinating with patients to complete scheduling.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Proven experience in a healthcare setting (patient coordination or similar role preferred).
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (preferred but not required; training provided).
- Proficiency with office software, email systems, and document management.
