Medical Records Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Coordinator to manage administrative tasks in a healthcare setting. This role involves ensuring accurate patient records, supporting the medical team, and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Perform clerical duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
  • Assist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks and documentation
  • Ensure proper filing and retrieval of electronic medical records
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide support for appointment scheduling and follow-ups
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and healthcare management software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with billing and coding in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks
