Healthcare Credentialing Specialist

We are seeking a Credentialing Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of healthcare provider credentials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credentialing Process Management:
- Collect and verify all necessary documentation for credentialing, including licenses, NPI letters, and facility privileges.
- Assist providers with completing payer forms and ensure compliance with payer expectations.
- Respond to provider inquiries regarding credentialing progress.
- Alert clients of new regulations, expiring certificates, reapplications, and deficiencies in credentialing requirements.
- Database Management:
- Maintain accurate and current client information using an online database.
- Workflow Automation:
- Drive the implementation of an automated credentialing workflow management system.
- Provide requirements to software developers.
- Review implementation.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in US-based credentialing processes.
- Familiarity with the US medical insurance industry.
- Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.
- Credentialing certification is required.
Requirements:
- High comfort level working on Eastern Time Zone/US Shift.
- Good internet access at home.
- Mobile Hotspot.
- Laptop/Desktop with at least 8 GB.
