HEALTHCARE SPECIALIST HIRING

Locations: Bridgetowne, Quezon City & Philexcel, Pampanga

Job Summary

We are looking for a Healthcare Specialist to join our growing team In this role, you will handle both outbound and inbound calls to resolve patient account balances. You will discuss insurance coverages, explain benefits, arrange payment plans, and ensure timely account resolution — all while delivering exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Place outbound calls to collect healthcare account balances due from guarantors.
  • Handle incoming calls regarding patient accounts, providing clear explanations and resolution options.
  • Troubleshoot billing inquiries and articulate action steps with estimated resolution timeframes.
  • Document all encounters accurately in the system for thorough record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve insurance denials, billing issues, missing payments, and other account concerns.
  • Manage special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of high-volume call center experience.
  • Healthcare call center experience preferred.
  • Experience in soft collections is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of US health insurance coverages, benefits, and EOBs.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent math, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex documents.
  • Professional, tactful, and adaptable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge of state/federal laws and compliance standards is an advantage.
