About Our Hybrid Role

As a Skillful Support Specialist, you will join our dynamic team in ensuring customer satisfaction and app reliability. This role combines technical support and quality assurance to provide excellent service.

You will spend your time resolving escalated customer issues, testing new features, and building automation that enhances both support and QA processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support (Escalated Cases)
    • Handle complex customer issues escalated from our internal teams.
    • Analyze and resolve problems by reproducing issues, reviewing logs, and testing app flows.
    • Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers when needed.
    • Provide detailed explanations, fixes, and documentation to internal support agents.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing
    • Participate in pre-release QA cycles, testing app builds on devices and simulators.
    • Run manual tests across key user journeys and edge cases.
    • Contribute to designing and maintaining automated test suites.
    • Offer feedback during release planning to identify risks and areas needing attention.
    • Develop expertise in our app's user journeys, including customer-facing and internal tools.
    • Proactively explore and 'self-serve' the app to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
    • Be a champion for the end-user experience, catching issues before they reach customers.
Requirements:
  • Strong English communication skills – essential for support and cross-team collaboration.
  • Previous experience in a consumer or business app environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective technical support or QA testing in a fast-paced software team.
  • Comfortable with on-device app testing (iOS/Android) and simulators/emulators.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools or willingness to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset – able to explore, reproduce, and explain complex app issues.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in improving customer and internal team experiences.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with tools like Linear or similar.
  • Basic scripting or automation knowledge (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Playwright).
  • Exposure to SQL or debugging logs.
  • Previous work with outsourced or distributed teams.
