This position reports toTechnical Promotions & Segment Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience to create market demand and need for specific features or products. Each day, you will identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships. The work model for the role is: #Hybrid. This role contributes to Electrification and Smart Buildings in the Philippines, primarily engaging with the Building Segment. Main responsibilities include:
- Implementing proactive promotional activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, educational materials, and technical development of projects and solutions for the customer target group.
- Creating plans for target audience visits and conducting regular status reviews, analyzing insights and outcomes of these visits.
- Establishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with target group customers to understand their needs and ensure they are well-informed about ABB's products, systems, and services, including providing technical support and electrical calculations for design institutes and technical consultants.
- Ensuring effective marketing activities and delivering strong value propositions to customers through promotional techniques.
- Developing and executing strategies to achieve pipeline and order growth in the Low Voltage business.
- Staying updated on industry trends, market developments, electrification, and digitization to offer innovative solutions.
- Tertiary or degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering, or a recognized equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the Low Voltage sector.
- Experience handling building segment customers and real estate developers.
- Experience in demand generation business.
- Experience working with utilities, data centers, semiconductors, renewables, and EPCs is a plus.
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and propose tailored solutions.
- Proficiency in SAP (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and Salesforce.
