Job Title: Packaging Cost Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Packaging Cost Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our production planning department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects.

Your primary goal will be to analyze packaging specifications, customer drawings, and production capabilities to determine job scope and manufacturing requirements. You will work closely with our sales, production, and design teams to ensure that our quotes are accurate and meet the needs of our customers.

In addition to your estimating responsibilities, you will also be expected to maintain and update pricing databases and Excel-based estimate sheets. This will require advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.

As a successful candidate, you will have a proven track record of experience in estimating folding carton packaging projects, as well as working knowledge of printing processes (offset printing, color matching, etc.). You will possess exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

Preferred qualifications include prior experience with packaging or print production software (e.g., ERP/MIS systems) and familiarity with structural design tools (e.g., ArtiosCAD). A background in packaging engineering or graphic production is also advantageous.
