Junior Estimator

We are looking for a Junior Estimator to be part of FT (Facade Tech) Drafting Corporation. Support the team with estimating construction scope and costs for different projects/jobs. The Junior Estimator will work together with the Estimating team in producing seamless and accurate estimates that will lead to the team's success in pursuing the company's goals of excellent service to its clients.

FT (Facade Tech) Drafting Corporation specializes in providing exemplary services ranging from Designing, Drafting, and Estimating. Focusing on extending these services to its Australia-based clients.

The company was established in the Philippines on the year of 2022. As of today, FT Drafting Corporation is growing as a start-up organization with its main office located at Alabang City, Muntinlupa.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpret and review facade drawings and material specifications.
• Responsible for providing accurate material take offs, estimated and detailed material breakdown for bidding purposes.
• Identify and compare discrepancies between measured/estimated quantity and builder/client BOQ.
• Responsible for doing scope markup based on issued SOW (Scope of works) and Facade/Material specifications.
• Plan, manage, and strategize estimating activities required to meet tender programs.
• Maintain organized files and appropriate documentation of completed work.
• Other related duties as assigned by the Management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• If with work experience, preferably with 1-2 years of work experience in Facade Industry.
• Background in estimating and reviewing facade drawings and material specifications. Familiarity with bidding responsibilities.
• Experience with Bluebeam Software (and other estimating and tendering software), and AutoCAD (and other CAD software).
• Ability to read construction drawings/blueprints.
• Accurate mathematical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently within a team environment.
• Must have an excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills.
• Must be detail oriented, has a deadline-driven mindset, and goal-directed.
• Ability to handle all types of projects.
• Willingness to contribute above daily tasks to help the company in meeting tight deadlines.

Work Schedule (Dayshift)

• Monday to Friday (6AM-3PM; Manila Time)

Work Setup (Onsite)

• You will be working onsite.
• Your equipment will be provided by the company.
• Alabang City, Muntinlupa
