Carton Packaging Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Carton Packaging Estimator to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating folding carton jobs, coupled with knowledge of printing processes and packaging material specifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects. They will analyze packaging specifications, customer drawings, and production capabilities to determine job scope and manufacturing requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects
  • Analyzing packaging specifications, customer drawings, and production capabilities
  • Collaborating with sales, production, and design teams to determine job scope and manufacturing requirements
  • Maintaining and updating pricing databases and estimate sheets
  • Supporting customer inquiries with technical and cost-related input

The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. They will also have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

Required qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in estimating folding carton packaging projects
  • Working knowledge of printing processes (offset printing, color matching, etc.)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities

Preferred qualifications include prior experience with packaging or print production software and familiarity with structural design tools.
