Job Description

As a Takeoff Estimator (Utilities), you will prepare accurate material takeoffs, analyze project plans, and support utility estimation processes using Bluebeam. Your work will directly contribute to global infrastructure projects, ensuring efficiency and precision in cost planning and delivery.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in takeoff estimation for utilities or civil engineering projects
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam is required
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with international teams
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments

Your Daily Tasks

  • Perform accurate takeoff estimations for utility and civil engineering projects
  • Review and analyze project drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Utilize Bluebeam to generate detailed material quantity reports
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimation accuracy
  • Support cost analysis, budget preparation, and bid proposals
  • Maintain proper documentation of all takeoff and estimation activities
  • Communicate regularly with international teams to align on project requirements and updates
  • Identify risks and discrepancies in estimates and recommend solutions
