Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, coding, testing, correcting, and documenting complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications and subsequent iterations.

Utilizing agreed standards and tools, this individual collaborates in reviews of specifications with others as appropriate.

Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform including PowerApps, Power Automate, and PowerBI is essential for delivering and actively contributing in planning, enhancing, and implementing Power Platform Apps and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex enhancements or solutions.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert identifying and selecting the best approach to achieve business goals.
  • Handle and prioritize multiple complex development and support tasks.
  • Work as a 'shift lead' when necessary, collaborating with the Team, Delivery, and Platform Leads to monitor development tasks and escalate issues.
  • Facilitate group and application review meetings around technical design, decision-making, and problem-solving to ensure quality solutions and services are delivered.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises, ensuring adherence to Disaster Recovery Policy, and maintaining Disaster Recovery Technical Recovery Plans (TRPs).
  • Adapt to flexible work arrangements based on team or client requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Power Apps, Power Automate, and/or Power BI expertise.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of SDLC and Service Management tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience in Application development, design, and integration.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, able to identify problems and think logically to resolve complex issues.
  • Self-driven, responding to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace.
  • Agile Methodology proficiency.
