Digital Acquisition Specialist

Job Description:

The role of the Digital Acquisition Specialist is to devise, implement, and optimize digital campaigns that drive customer acquisition and funnel improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to evaluate and enhance growth strategies and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, integrating with offline activities where necessary.
  • Generate data-driven hypotheses and conduct experiments throughout the prospect-to-activated-customer funnel to identify insights and key opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to evaluate and optimize growth strategies and performance metrics.
  • Manage budgets and report on acquisition campaign metrics and cost per approval.
  • Secure and develop alternative channels for acquisition, including but not limited to: Facebook, Google, comparison sites, and other emerging platforms.
  • Utilize digital platforms for more targeted acquisition promotions resulting in lower costs per account.
  • Work closely with Credit Acquisition and Risk teams to develop new programs that challenge current risk policies, improve acquisition processes, and develop sales strategies to increase application turn-ins for digital channels.
  • Negotiate with partner merchants and establishments to deliver better value propositions for digital acquisition programs.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Communications for the development of marketing materials and creative requirements to promote programs.
  • Enhance digital acquisition propositions through industry, market, and consumer insights. As needed, coordinate with market research agencies to conduct studies required in the development of new product acquisition programs.
  • Coordinate with support units (Credit Acquisition, BIU, Business Development, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, etc.) to establish new/revised policies and procedures supporting changes or enhancements in the processing of applications from digital channels.
  • Prepare and monitor monthly MIS reports for regular evaluation of product and promo take-up, ensuring targets are achieved.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a college/university, preferably in business.
  • Experience defining and leading digital acquisition strategy, strong digital, customer segmentation, and martech knowledge.
  • Strong experience running successful PPC and paid social campaigns, understanding of keyword search and implementation.
  • Experience creating and executing digital campaigns, knowledge of A/B testing, and delivery reports.
  • Strong project management skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Numerical, analytical mind, and expert understanding of performance marketing metrics, able to make data-based decisions.
  • Comfortable manipulating and analyzing large datasets.
  • Excellent understanding of technical aspects of digital acquisition, attribution, and conversion tracking.
  • Advanced digital analytics experience (Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager/social media analytics).
  • Broad understanding of credit card business operations and ability to relate unit performance metrics to overall company performance.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Adept at preparing communication, research, and creative briefs, and experience in creating MIS reports for marketing programs.
