Senior Alliance Manager Role

The role of Senior Alliance Manager is to lead IHV Alliances in the EMEA or APAC regions, reporting directly to the Head of IHV Alliances. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced professional who can build strategic relationships with IHV partners at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bolster partnerships through commercial business terms and negotiations
  • Grow awareness of open source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu among key partners
  • Understand the Linux and cloud software ecosystem to provide informed solutions
Requirements:
  • Background in alliance or indirect sales management roles with experience in evaluating opportunities and requirements
  • A disciplined and autonomous mindset with a track record of delivering results
  • Ability to identify and create business opportunities while maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Passionate about Ubuntu products and mission-driven work
  • Thrives in fast-paced and high-pressure environments with measurable goals
  • Expertise in Linux, virtualization, containers, and other cloud technologies
