Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant to support our team of Mortgage Brokers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering quality client outcomes and has a strong understanding of mortgage processes and terminology.

This role involves providing high-level executive and administrative support to Mortgage Brokers and their applications, including supporting the Broker throughout the loan application process, assisting brokers at all stages of the loan process from first contact through to settlement, and preparing loan comparisons.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Mortgage Broker throughout the loan application process
  • Assisting brokers at all stages of the loan process from first contact through to settlement
  • Preparing loan comparisons and gathering rate quotes
  • Lender follow-up and status reporting
  • Taking ownership of compliance-related matters ensuring all documentation and data is captured in the CRM system
  • Completing loan serviceability, ordering valuations, preparing forms (FHOG forms, Discharge requests), and arranging settlements with stakeholders
Requirements
  • Mortgage broking or banking/lending experience
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Applyonline/Simpology (LoanApp)
  • Strong understanding of mortgage processes and terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
