Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Loan Processor with proven experience in the Australian mortgage landscape. This role involves full-cycle support from credit assessment through to post-settlement, requiring the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess client documents and conduct credit checks
  • Perform servicing and pricing calculations, upfront valuations, and credit report extraction
  • Package and submit loan applications via ApplyOnline or similar platforms
  • Liaise with brokers, clients, lenders, and solicitors throughout the loan lifecycle
  • Monitor loan progress and proactively follow up on outstanding items
  • Manage settlement tasks including discharge processing, lender follow-ups, and settlement delay resolution
  • Provide post-settlement assistance including repricing, loan increases, progress payments, and fixed rate reviews
  • Ensure all records are up to date in the CRM and comply with internal procedures and lender policies

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Australian mortgage processing
  • Strong understanding of lender policies (CBA, ANZ, Macquarie, Westpac, etc.)
  • Proficient in platforms such as ApplyOnline, Mercury, Salesforce, or similar
  • Comfortable handling PAYG, self-employed, SMSF, and complex loan applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
