Key Responsibilities:
  • Loan Preparation & Accuracy: Review and validate mortgage loan components to ensure accuracy and completeness before delivery.
  • Ensure data points and documents in the loan package are accurate and complete.
  • Conduct thorough calculations and validations to ensure the integrity of the loan package.
  • Credit & Risk Mitigation: Identify credit issues and resolve them to minimize risks.
  • Deliver loans without errors, ensuring investor trust.
  • Maintain documentation for each underwriting decision.
  • Quality Assurance & Process Improvement: Conduct quality checks on completed loan packages to uphold a high standard of accuracy.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in mortgage loan underwriting for US consumers.
  • Experience with TRID guidelines, agency and investor guidelines, and the mortgage life cycle.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and Google Drive.
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, finance, economics, or related fields.
