Business Analyst - Learning Innovations

This is an exciting opportunity to support Learning & Development operations with learning analytics and automation solutions. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting and managing outcomes that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for business planning.

The role offers a great opportunity to work on a wide variety of learning innovations, partnering with business leaders and technology teams to improve business processes and gather and report on learning utilization and effectiveness.

You will have the chance to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver next-in-class analytics solutions, drive process improvements, and ensure all business processes are documented, uniform, and securely stored.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather data business requirements, including key L&D analytics, industry metrics, and benchmarks.
  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements.
  • Design, develop, and distribute L&D metrics reporting and visualization, leveraging business intelligence reporting.
  • Manage learner groups or analysis, and assignment of Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety (EOHS) regulatory training in coordination with business partners or training leads, leveraging business intelligence reporting.
  • Recommend process improvements for improved efficiencies, removing waste, saving time, and reducing friction.
  • Solve moderately complex problems and/or conduct moderately complex analyses.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in business analysis, including working with internal business partners and technology leads.
  • Experience in complex problem-solving and process improvement, analyzing and recommending solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI business intelligence reporting and Smartsheet.
