Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to deliver evidence-informed case management and individualised support to people under supervision orders.

The successful candidate will ensure community safety through the effective management of adults subject to orders within the community. They will work collaboratively with stakeholders, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, to address the over-representation of Indigenous individuals within the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with management, staff, and external stakeholders to negotiate service delivery, priorities, deadlines, resources, and other relevant issues.
  • Work self-sufficiently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate experience working within legislative frameworks that underpin core service delivery areas.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders, including those with competing interests.
  • Negotiate sensitive and complex issues with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Australian driver's licence (minimum C class) is mandatory for this role.
  • May require working hours outside normal work hours, travelling to other locations, or temporarily working from an alternate location.
  • Must complete Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community) within 12 months of employment and achieve certification within 18 months.
