Business Development Financial Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Financial Manager to lead our team in developing and executing financial strategies. This role involves collaborating with sales and leasing objectives to achieve revenue growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans aligned with business goals.
  • Forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability related to equipment financing programs.
  • Design and implement loan and lease structuring solutions tailored to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with finance partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms and rates.
  • Analyze client financial statements, credit reports, and payment histories to make informed credit decisions and establish risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the creation, review, negotiation, and execution of financing and leasing contracts to ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
  • Monitor and manage credit risk exposure and suggest policy improvements as needed.
  • Generate regular reports on financing activity, delinquency, and portfolio performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate education is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financing, credit, or leasing, preferably in the heavy equipment, construction, or automotive industry.
  • Proven experience in financial structuring, credit analysis, and customer/dealer support.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products (loans, leases, rentals).
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and credit evaluation tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and CRM systems.
