We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to lead financial planning, analysis and control activities. The successful candidate will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and compliance to support effective decision-making and ensure the financial health of our organization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial models to support business cases for new projects or initiatives.
  • Manage cash flow, preparing regular cash flow statements and forecasts to ensure operational liquidity in close coordination with internal stakeholders.

Financial Operations & Controllership
  • Oversight of full spectrum of accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and bank reconciliations.
  • Timely and accurate closing of books on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis in compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
  • Implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Management of treasury functions and maintenance of positive relationships with banking partners.
  • System administration for accounting software, ensuring proper segregation of duties is implemented and consistently maintained.

Regulatory Compliance & Tax Management
  • Compliance with all statutory reporting and remittance requirements for national and local government agencies.
  • Management of tax planning and compliance activities, including preparation and filing of all tax returns.
  • Primary point of contact and management of relationship with external auditor.
  • Timely renewal of necessary business permits and licenses with local government unit.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations to ensure proactive compliance and mitigate potential risks.

Reporting & Business Partnership
  • Preparation and submission of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
  • Communication of financial results and insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders to support their decision-making.
  • Partnership with various departments to provide financial support, analyze costs and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Leadership, training and mentoring of finance and accounting staff, promoting a culture of accuracy, accountability and professional growth.
  • Clear objectives for team, delegation of tasks effectively and performance evaluations.
  • Streamlining of accounting and finance processes to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Professional certification in accounting (e.g. CPA).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory role (e.g. Accounting Supervisor, Finance Team Lead).
  • Knowledge in accounting software or ERP systems.
  • Skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to handle organizational projects/initiatives.
