Strategic Risk Management Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our risk management efforts, ensuring the highest standards of assurance and control.

  • About the Role:

  • This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with expertise in risk management, data analytics, and automation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of executing complex assurance projects, developing innovative solutions, and driving business growth.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects, and ensuring seamless integration with internal stakeholders.

  • A deep understanding of risk management frameworks, IT controls, and regulatory requirements is essential for this role.

  • Experience in assurance, control testing, information security, business resilience, or technology risk within a large enterprise is highly desirable.

  • Professional certifications such as CA/CPA, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, FAIR, or MBCP are an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead assurance projects, identifying inherent risks, control gaps, and regulatory non-compliance.

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, enhancing control assurance processes and reducing operational risk.

  • Conduct risk assessments, evaluating internal controls and operating practices to ensure compliance with global IRM methodologies.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, meeting quality objectives and stakeholder expectations.

  • Communicate effectively with senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations on risk management and control.
