Audit Staff Job Description

Highly skilled audit professionals are sought to conduct thorough examinations of financial records and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, or business administration, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audits to assess the organization's financial health, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Examine financial records, including financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation, to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify potential risks, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses in an organization's financial systems and processes.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, document findings, and provide recommendations to senior management regarding improvements or corrective actions.
  • Communicate findings to management, stakeholders, or regulatory authorities in a clear and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA designation (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting audit findings and advising on improvements.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing financial documents and transactions.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify issues that may not be immediately apparent.
