Job Overview

Serve as a senior assurance professional on various engagements, including manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare, governmental, and nonprofit entities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and service excellence
  • Analyze financial statement issues using electronic sources and software
  • Contribute to the assurance workflow by identifying, analyzing, and articulating problems and opportunities
  • Gather a comprehensive understanding of company operations to assess internal controls and provide value-added solutions
  • Communicate timely results effectively within the organization and externally
  • Nurture positive relationships with clients
  • Successfully complete moderately complex tasks
  • Supervise staff and interns on detailed engagements
  • Stay up-to-date with computer software applications for efficient use of time
  • Understand the economics of job performance and Firm operation within operational constraints
  • Attend Level 3, 4, and 5 assurance training sessions
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution
  • Compliance with the 150 hour rule and/or a CPA certification
  • Recent public accounting experience of two (2) to four (4) years
  • Understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and industry rules
  • Prior experience with paperless auditing application is preferred
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong research, organizational, computer, and analytical skills are required
  • A commitment to providing exceptional client service with integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality results
