Our firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Audit Senior Associate.

">Job Description

We are looking for an individual with strong analytical and organizational skills to join our team as an Audit Senior Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of audits of client financial statements under the supervision of senior personnel. You will also be required to complete audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings, as well as research and develop knowledge of current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations.

">Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing audits of client financial statements under supervision of manager/senior personnel on team.
  • Complete audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings.
  • Research and develop knowledge of current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collect, assimilate, and analyze client data and use standard processes and tools to complete assigned project work.
  • Assist in identifying technical issues in various projects and share suggestions with senior personnel to mitigate the same.
  • Recommend ways to streamline operations and increase client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college.
  • 3-7 years of recent public accounting experience | Audit.
  • ERISA, Employee Benefit Plans Experience Required.
  • Understanding of generally accepted auditing standards, generally accepted accounting principles (FASB, GAAP, OCBOA) and industry specific rules.
  • Experience with a paperless auditing application preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong research, organizational, computer and analytical skills needed.
  • A desire to provide exceptional client service with the highest level of integrity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Minimum Internet Speed: 50-100 Mbps.
  • Dedicated Home Office Area: Private, quiet workspace.
  • Business Continuity Plan: Power and Internet Backup is a MUST.
