This role is responsible for ongoing support, escalations, and proactive maintenance for client Azure platforms.

  • Supporting client Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including incident analysis and resolution.
  • Communicating ticket status information and escalating cases as necessary.
  • Identifying IT issues, troubleshooting, and following up with clients via email, ticketing systems, and phone calls.
  • Installing, configuring, and administering client systems in Azure to improve infrastructure.
  • Configuring and tuning cloud-based tools, managing cost, security, and compliance.
  • Executing monthly maintenance plans, including patching, anti-virus updates, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Creating and maintaining updated documentation for client environments.
  • Promoting best practices to enhance organizational processes.
  • Participating in weekly discussions with clients to review outstanding issues and changes.
  • Providing consultation and monthly reports on client cloud-based infrastructure.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud servers, services, and software or equivalent sys admin experience.
  • Experience in 24x7 managed services, hosted service companies, or Network Operations Center environments.
  • ITIL processes and associated ITSM systems and service portals for Incident and Change Management.
  • Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS experience.
  • Windows and Linux system administration experience.
  • Developing CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, and Terraform templates.
  • Azure native services experience, such as Policy, Active Directory, Lighthouse, Monitor/Log Analytics.
  • Understanding of sys admin concepts, including virtualization, containers, disk storage, encryption, security, network connectivity, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Experience with Azure-based deployments and migrations or other cloud platforms.
  • Operational knowledge of ARM, PowerShell, and Bicep.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for problem-solving and learning new technologies.
  • Client relationship skills and experience managing vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a self-motivated work ethic.
  • Strong desire for personal development and learning.
