Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to scale and secure our cloud infrastructure. This individual will own infrastructure design, automation, and CI/CD pipelines while enabling fast, reliable deployments in a cloud-native environment.

This is a mid-senior level full-time engineering position that involves building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure powering our products and services. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles and possesses strong expertise in AWS or Azure, as well as hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines, scripting skills for automation, and familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable environments on AWS/Azure, implement automation with Infrastructure as Code, and ensure seamless deployments through CI/CD.
  • Partner with developers and SREs to deliver containerized applications in production, reduce manual work through automation, and improve system performance and resilience.
  • Drive continuous improvement in a cloud-native environment and solve infrastructure challenges at scale.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong expertise in AWS or Azure (infrastructure design, scaling, cost optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar).
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or TypeScript) for automation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, SigNoz) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Startup experience, comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems or advanced networking.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert).
  • Contributions to open-source DevOps/infra projects.
