Family Care Specialist Role

Over 50 million Americans are unpaid family caregivers. We aim to train and employ these caregivers so they can receive compensation for their care at home.

The Job Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with real families dealing with human problems.
  • You will collect, review, and track required documentation from caregivers and families.
  • You will make outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries to guide families through the documentation process.
  • You will handle a high volume of phone interactions daily while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
  • You will ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with state regulations.
  • You will communicate clearly with families via phone, text, and email.
  • You will maintain organized records and track expiring documents, sending timely reminders.
  • You will collaborate with onboarding and credentialing teams to provide a seamless experience.

Requirements
  • Experience in customer service, administrative, or healthcare support roles is essential.
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when reviewing documents are vital.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
  • Comfort using CRM systems, shared drives, or document tracking tools is desired.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize follow-ups, and meet deadlines is required.
  • A compassionate and patient approach when working with families and caregivers is essential.
  • Familiarity with healthcare documentation, HIPAA, or Medicaid is a bonus but not required.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a strong plus.
