Collections Leadership Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive collections strategy, presenting performance insights and next steps to senior management, and driving a disciplined dunning cadence to reduce days sales outstanding (DSO) and meet financial targets.

This role requires strong communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a thorough understanding of collections best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience with call execution, negotiation, and dispute resolution, as well as proficiency in reporting and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call Execution:
    • Maintain high right-party contact (RPC) and promise-to-pay (PTP) conversion rates while making outbound calls via RingCentral.
    • Negotiate payments, payment plans, and settlements while providing exceptional customer service.
    • Handle objections and resolve disputes in a timely manner.
  • Collections Strategy & Ownership:
    • Prioritize accounts and drive a disciplined dunning cadence to reduce DSO and meet cash targets.
    • Escalate appropriately and build weekly/monthly plans to achieve financial targets and reduce DSO.
  • Customer Service & Upsell:
    • Provide friendly, solutions-oriented service and identify opportunities for simple upsells without compromising collection goals.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
    • Produce daily/weekly dashboards and a month-end summary to track performance and compliance.
    • Follow applicable laws and regulations related to consent, TCPA considerations, and state collection rules.
