About the role

We are seeking an Accounting - Collection professional to join our dynamic team at Alto Audio Design Center. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts receivable and ensuring the timely collection of payments from our clients. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Proactively monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments
  2. Communicate with clients to resolve any billing or payment-related issues
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and collections
  4. Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile accounts and generate financial reports
  5. Develop and implement strategies to improve the company's cash flow and collection processes
  6. Provide support and assistance to the broader accounting and finance functions as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in a similar accounts receivable or collections role, ideally within the accounting or bookkeeping industry
  2. Strong numerical and analytical skills with an attention to detail
  3. Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, such as spreadsheets and invoicing systems
  5. Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and best practices
  6. A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
