About the Role
KMC Solutions Inc is seeking a seasoned Strategic Talent Acquisition Lead to spearhead our recruitment efforts. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of our organization, driving innovation and excellence in talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership Function:
- Drive performance management, mentorship, and guidance for a team of talent acquisition leaders, ensuring they have the necessary tools to excel.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, provide feedback, and recognize high performers while addressing underperformance promptly.
- Evaluate the team's performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement quality assurance measures to maintain compliance with established processes and service levels.
- Foster adherence to standardized recruitment processes by providing training, ongoing support, and monitoring team members' compliance.
- Support senior-level recruitment efforts by providing strategic guidance and expertise.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Establish strong relationships with clients as the primary escalation point for all talent acquisition-related matters within the team.
- Understand client objectives, recruitment needs, and long-term talent strategies to offer tailored solutions and exceptional service.
- Provide strategic advice on talent acquisition best practices, market trends, and innovative recruitment strategies to enhance client satisfaction.
- Client Escalation Management:
- Act as the initial point of contact for client escalations, addressing and resolving issues promptly while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Ensure sustainability and efficiency of proposed solutions while maintaining compliance within the current boundaries of Talent Acquisition.
- Demonstrate empathy when addressing client concerns, collaborating to find effective solutions that meet their needs and align with the organization's objectives.
- Conduct thorough investigations, gather relevant information, and engage cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement appropriate resolutions.
- Benchmarking and Market Analysis:
- Provide guidance to talent acquisition leaders on conducting market research and benchmarking exercises to offer clients valuable insights on industry trends, talent acquisition strategies, and practices specific to their hiring requirements.
- Identify talent shortages or skill gaps in the market and propose alternative strategies to clients, such as reskilling, upskilling, or considering candidates from related industries or backgrounds.
- Evaluate the feasibility of recruiting for specific roles within the existing talent market, assessing factors like skill availability, competition, talent scarcity, and market demand.
- Recruitment Data Analytics:
- Utilize recruitment data and analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights driving recruitment strategies and decision-making.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards on recruitment metrics, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Presentation of data-driven insights to senior leadership to inform strategic talent acquisition decisions.
- Project Management:
- Take on project management roles for key talent acquisition initiatives, overseeing planning, execution, and successful completion of recruitment projects.
- Employ project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to manage risks, issues, and dependencies while maintaining clear communication and collaboration with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Talent Acquisition Technology & Trends:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest recruitment technologies, tools, and trends to optimize the talent acquisition process and enhance efficiency.
- Stay informed about current and emerging trends in talent acquisition, including sourcing strategies, recruitment technologies, candidate assessment methodologies, diversity and inclusion practices, and employer branding techniques.
- Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Audit and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of talent acquisition processes, procedures, and workflows to identify areas for improvement, bottlenecks, and opportunities to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather feedback, insights, and suggestions for process improvement while engaging in regular communication to ensure alignment and collaboration in implementing enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation tools to streamline and optimize the talent acquisition process, evaluating and implementing applicant tracking systems, AI-based screening tools, and other relevant HR technologies.
- Document process improvements by updating Talent Acquisition process documents while ensuring proper cascade of process updates and alignment among affected parties.
