Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Remote Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and support services.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Communicating with patients to relay test results in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Creating and processing referrals for specialized healthcare providers.
  3. Ordering labs and imaging while coordinating and scheduling appointments for patients.
  4. Maintaining and updating electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  5. Ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
  6. Utilizing communication tools like Avaya soft phone to interact with patients and healthcare providers.

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as a solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices. You will also have experience working in clinical settings, preferably with patient care or family medicine.

Requirements include:

  • RN License (US certified)
  • At least 1-year experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant
  • Specialization or experience in patient care, family medicine, acute care, or clinical settings preferred
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal (C1 level)
  • Solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices
  • Proficient in EHR/EMR systems and ability to troubleshoot common technical issues
  • Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid organizational & time management skills with keen attention to details
  • Tech savvy & familiar with current technologies
  • Able to work on a graveyard shift
