Join a dynamic team of professionals as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role involves delivering sourcing and hiring results for manufacturing roles, while enhancing client and candidate experiences and strengthening the company's brand.

The successful candidate will have experience in hiring in the manufacturing industry and recruiting in the Japanese market. They will also have strong relationships with client stakeholders (Hiring Managers, Leadership, HR, TA) and position the company as trusted partners who protect client brand, culture, and values.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver sourcing and hiring results for manufacturing roles, while enhancing client and candidate experiences and strengthening the company's brand.
  • Develop and gain buy-in from clients for project strategy, including employer branding, sourcing, channels, assessment, and onboarding elements.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders (Hiring Managers, Leadership, HR, TA) and position the company as trusted partners who protect client brand, culture, and values.
  • Create and post job adverts using client brand guidelines and manage applications professionally.
  • Directly source and headhunt suitable candidates; screen applicants to present shortlists to relevant decision-makers.
  • Guide Hiring Managers through the shortlist and manage the candidate journey with a professional, candidate-centric approach.
Requirements:
  • Japanese talent acquisition experience is critical.
  • Experience hiring for roles in the manufacturing space is essential.
  • Utilise and maintain the ATS and any other client/project systems.
  • Write updates and analyse relevant business data; stay aware of market trends and competitor activity for candidates.
  • Comply with company standards on values and ethics in all delivery and client interactions.
  • Maintain a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and clients to grow the business.
  • Be a solid generalist/corporate TA professional capable of managing a range of roles.
  • Fluency in Japanese is helpful; English proficiency is required for global communication.
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in scale-up environments recruiting on a multi-national basis is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable full-lifecycle recruiting experience in-house and/or with an agency.
  • Strong ability to sell value proposition, negotiate, and close candidates.
  • Proven track record of closing requisitions with quick turnaround.
  • Charisma and a strong, collaborative approach to work with stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving capability and self-motivation; teamwork is essential.
